Frequently Asked Questions
I registered for the full conference, but I don’t see the Economic Summit or Managers Summit on my receipt. What do I do if I want to attend one of those as well?
The Managers Summit and Economic Summit are separate events and sold individually. You must sign up for one of those additional events in addition to your full conference registration.
I need update/change and existing registration. Who do I contact for help?
If you need assistance with an existing registration ie. making changes, updates, adding a session, refunds, etc. please contract our registration vendor Showcare.

When will I receive my badge?
Badges will NOT be mailed. They can be picked up at the Registration Desk at the MGM Grand – Grand Ballroom Foyer

How much does registration cost?
I am a member but the system isn’t recognizing my member ID or I don’t know my member number. What do I do?

Your membership ID can be found on any of your invoices.

Verify that you are including all numbers, including any leading zeros.

If you have more than one membership ID be sure that you are using the one that is currently active

What are the registration hours?
Tuesday, Sept. 5: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday, Sept 6: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Thursday, Sept 7: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Can I bring a child? Is there an age restriction?
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the trade show. If you have any other questions regarding a child at the conference, please contact Jen Pettigrew at jpettigrew@selfstorage.org.
Hotel Reservations
We have contracted a hotel block at the MGM Grand. Reservations can be made online here.
What is the closest airport?
McCarren International Airport (LAS) is about 10 mins from the MGM Grand
What is the exhibit hall schedule?
Wednesday, Sept 6: 11:30am – 4:00pm
Thursday, Sept 7: 11:30am – 3:00pm
Can I obtain a list of exhibitors
Yes, will we post a list of exhibitors on our website soon here.
Substitution and Cancellation Policy
If you register and then are unable to attend, you may send someone in your place at no additional charge. Notify the SSA registrar in writing or by FAX (514) 289-9844 or email SSA@Showcare.com, as far in advance of the conference as possible. Cancellations faxed or postmarked on or before August 18, 2023, will be subject to a $75 cancellation fee per registrant ($35 for Trade Show Only registrants), with the remainder refunded. No refund will be granted for cancellations faxed or postmarked after August 18, 2023!
