A MESSAGE FROM SSA's PRESIDENT & CEO
“The SSA looks forward to our return to Las Vegas next month as we continue the momentum of the recent in-person state and national events,” said SSA President & CEO Tim Dietz. “We are aware that earlier this month the state, under guidance from the CDC, reinstituted an indoor mask requirement for some Nevada counties. The fact remains that the majority of those we’ve discussed the situation with remain eager for the industry to gather.”
Dietz continued, “If the revised guidance discourages your attendance, we will miss you and hope to see you in Orlando next spring. Many large groups have gathered, and continue to meet in Las Vegas. We are excited that the SSA will be moving forward with all elements of another fun and compelling program.”
HEALTH AND SAFETY AT THE SSA FALL CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW
The SSA continues to prioritize the health and safety of our attendees by respecting local government guidance (which adheres to CDC current guidance). Effective July 28, 2021, Clark County imposed a mask mandate for all individuals, both vaccinated and unvaccinated. As a result, masks will be required at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show. Face masks will be available onsite for all guests if they do not have their own. If local Clark County’s mandates are lifted, masks will no longer be required at the event. We appreciate your patience as we adapt our requirements to meet expert guidance and keep our participants safe.
